NY Daily News - A TLC driver was bashed in the head with a bottle by a mob of seven strangers in Queens on Sunday morning, an unprovoked attack that left him clinging to life, cops said.
The 41-year-old driver was sitting in his vehicle parked on 138th St. and Jamaica Ave. in Jamaica when four women and three men pounced on him, smashing the glass bottle over his head, about 12:20 a.m., police said.
Medics rushed the unconscious victim to Jamaica Hospital, just a couple blocks away, where he is in critical condition, police said.
His assailants ran off and have not been caught.
