NY Daily News reporting by Thomas Tracy - A motorcyclist was critically injured after crashing into a yellow cab in Brooklyn early Saturday, police said.
The cyclist, 32, who may have been driving drunk and speeding, was speeding down Mermaid Ave. near W. 22nd St. in Coney Island around 4 a.m. when his Kawasaki KLR motorcycle slammed into the yellow taxi, cops said.
Investigators believe the motorcyclist blew a red light before crashing into the taxi, according to a police source.
