NYC Dash Cam Series: Van Crosses Double Solid Yellow Line, Resulting in Head-On Collision

We share footage from a December 2019 incident on Flushing Avenue (near the Saint Nicholas Avenue intersection) in East Williamsburg. The TLC car in the video was standing on the side of the road, when a white van crosses the double solid yellow line and hits the car passing the TLC driver head-on. The passing car then subsequently hits the back of the TLC driver's vehicle (i.e. car jumped backwards from head-on impact). The driver of the white van refused a sobriety test and was arrested by police. We understand the person driving the white Hyundai that was hit head-on reported back and left arm pain and was transported to the hospital. Luckily, all others reported no major injuries.
