NYC Passengers are taking note of the surging Uber/Lyft prices and longer wait times. Some analysts expect prices, in NYC and nationally, to remain elevated throughout the summer as passenger demand, surging as the City/America enters a post pandemic period, outstrips driver supply. As we’ve written about before if you are a TLC license holder thinking about returning to the industry now may be as good a time as any to (1) earn more money and (2) ensure access to the Apps before driver supply and passenger demand reaches equilibrium.
