🚨 Robbers Steal Two Separate TLC Driver Phones At Same Location in Brooklyn
Two TLC drivers were robbed in the same spot, by the same robbers, only a half hour apart in Brooklyn last Thursday. Luckily, the drivers weren't injured. Criminals still at large as NYPD seeks help
1010 WINS reports that last Thursday, October 20th, around 9:40 a.m., a [TLC] driver was called to 707 New Jersey Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. When the driver arrived, a pair of thieves threatened to shoot him and demanded two of his iPhones. The [TLC driver] gave up his iPhones, valued at about $1,400, while the robbers fled the scene.
About half an hour later, the SAME robbers returned to the scene of the first crime and struck again by calling another [TLC] driver. One of the robbers distracted the new TLC driver through the driver’s side window while the other stole the driver’s mobile phone, valued at about $1,200, from inside the car before fleeing.
Luckily, no injuries were reported as a result these robberies.
According to the NYPD, the suspects (images below) are described as having dark skin complexions and looked to be in their 20s. One of the men was last seen wearing a red hoodie sweater, black vest and black pants. The other was last seen wearing a black hoodie sweater with white lettering on the sleeves and gray jeans.
