52-year-old NYC TLC driver Ramon Peña was thrown out of his own 2019 Toyota Highlander (T796375C | VIN 5TDJZRFH9KS599086) as it was stolen by two riders early Friday morning in the Bronx. The passengers who requested the ride called a local livery base on the phone, giving an address at an intersection along Pelham Parkway North (near Tenbroeck Avenue). According to reporting, the location is normally deserted at that hour (around 4 a.m.) and not well lit.
