I have to say this has to been the most biggest scam of the TLC to date, go buy a telsa oh but wait there's no insurance!

Agree, don't think the TLC has fully thought this through on multiple levels

The congestion fee is a scam. All this money goes to the bankrupt MTA. A bankrupt company that belongs to the state.

Revel will be much larger. Means Uber and Lyft will be out of business in a few years. Gig workers will need to apply for employment with revel.

Still think Uber dominates. Very hard economics running a fleet when you own the vehicles and do W2. Remember, once/if Revel breaks 10,000 daily trips they are subject to HV driver minimum pat standards, will make economics even harder for them. Do agree, they'll continue to add more vehicles

Revel minimum driver pay is above HV driver minimum pay standard.

We looked into it, it's surprisingly below the HV driver minimum pay standard (think it's W2 gross income of $20 per hour (on avg.) vs. $26-$28 per hour (TLC HV standard)

Oh ok. Thank you. So maybe they will not expand into HV drivers minimum pay standard.

Yep. Revel has the resources to flood NYC with EV's. Unlike the average Uber driver.

They just keep adding more and more cars and demanding we all pay a congestion fee. Notice it doesn't specifically say a 'pollution fee.' It's presented as a means to reduce traffic in addition to pollution. Yet they keep adding more cars.

So, unlimited cars while they rob yellow drivers with a SECOND 'congestion fee.' Great plan, not at all off-the-rails insane.

You have to buy the electric car first then apply for the plate

Apologies for the delay, we've been checking in with multiple brokers and, as of now, there doesn't seem to be anyone but we will be publishing an article soon. Transit General was doing some, but they recently stopped it appears. This is just for Tesla, not all EVs.
