Plates were never for driver's why in today bad economy force drivers to buy expensive evs with no infrastructure if it was for the driver's why not then limit the plates to individuals who have been renting for sometime who could then buy hybrid cheap cars.
Let's see what happens!! What we're observing, on social media at least, is bad blood between NYTWA vs. IDG unfortunately vs. coming together, but maybe that changes!

Phenomenal news!!! Great job NYTWA!! I guess IDG will ride these coattails, too.

IDG clearly has a conflict and knows which master it must serve, the rideshare companies. Unfortunately, the drivers lose in this case.
Do you know how much of IDG's budget is member dues vs. Uber/Lyft contributions?
Nope but IDG never encourages dues payments, so I’m assuming most of their budget is from rideshare companies.
