I don’t think it’s love inasmuch as there must some type of coercion (and even corruption!) involved. The unilateral implementation of an EV exemption by sleight of hand with no input from medallion owners and drivers only leads one to conclude that there are forces at work to benefit a select few, Revel and Hertz being amongst them. As the publisher of this newsletter has stated unequivocally and I am in agreement, Chairman Do must resign and an immediate dropping of the EX exemption is warranted before we start experiencing the catastrophic incidences of desperation medallion owners and all drivers will be put through. Chairman Do has singlehandedly taken us back 90 years to before the Haas Act of 1937 because he is now flooding the market with more cars. At best he is just too dumb to know what he is doing to tens of thousands of drivers and, at worst, he is being bribed. In either case, he must go. Simple as that.
