Agree that the TLC industry is mostly centered around the independent operator "1099" model, even before Uber/Lyft arose. Alto (not in NYC, https://ridealto.com/) is another rideshare company that's utilizing a W2 model, but we have our skepticism about whether there's enough driver supply that's looking to become W2 employee-drivers. In the end, earnings will drive a big part of it
I agree, but if you look at it. Most low wage workers will look to unionize. This is the reality. Revel will shut it down. They focus on building the gas station for EV. Tesla will also give them a good run.
