A 3,000 sq ft "Taxi Clubhouse" opened in Manhattan at 161 W. 22nd St, near 7th Ave. Although reports say it's only open to yellow cab drivers, TLC confirms it's open to ANY licensed TLC driver
Since the wav vehicle program begin car dealerships charge extra expensive for wav vehicles ,and not everyone like to push wav .This is a manipulative way TlC doing to control drivers and allows big dealerships and big rentals companies to keep struggling taxi drivers under their feet
Is it difficult to find a pre-owned WAV? That maybe a way to save some money. What sort of prices are you seeing for WAVs at the dealerships these days?
This is very good for taxi industry, because there’s lots of different problems some drivers go through and maybe later by coming together and reaching out to each other the taxi community will get stronger to fight for our rights as drivers .Apart from low payments to TLC maneuvers to control drivers from owning their own cars while allowing tlc car rentals to take advantages and over charge drivers who struggle to pay fees and make a decent living.

So, the clubhouse just went from 13k taxi-only drivers to over 150k all NYC TLC drivers. Better get some more chairs and make an extra urn of coffee.
