My take about these advocacy groups is that it’s funded by the city government. My question is if they will be out on the street when they start the congestion tax below 60th street. This will indeed hurt the drivers the most. Likely it’s because these advocacy groups are made to protest other than what the politicians supports. That’s why I find them as a scam and will never support them.
I have as much sympathy for these ride share drivers as they had for the taxi drivers they ripped off by illegally forcing their way into the market. They're nothing more than gypsy cab drivers working downtown and the airports.
