Tesla Model 3 Yellow Taxi Involved in Crash on Long Island Expressway
No injuries were reported. It will be interesting to track fleet owner Sally's social media to understand how long it takes to repair the Tesla and the cost of the repairs (if no collision coverage)
The Tesla Model 3 Yellow Taxi that was recently making rounds on social media was unfortunately involved in an accident on the Long Island Expressway, according to InsideEVs. Thankfully no injuries were reported, but some significant damage to the Tesla’s left quarter panel was visible (i.e. wasn’t driveable after the accident).
It’ll be interesting to (1) get more details about the incident and (2) understand how long it takes to repair the Tesla, including costs if the fleet owner Sally doesn’t have collision coverage. We hope the driver and all those involved in the accident are okay (as reported by InsideEVs) and definitely hope to see the Tesla Yellow Cab back on the road again soon!
